Blaming The Victim
Hello,
It has been almost a week since the attack in southern Israel. I can not help thinking that the Palestinians are blaming the victims. Just like Ukraine. Russia is blaming the Ukrainians that they forced them to attack. The Palestinians are blaming Israel for the troubles that are occurring in the Gaza strip. You can play lip service that "I do not support Hamas" but how can Hamas do what they are doing without the support of the Palestinians. If good people do nothing than evil will prevail and it certainly prevailed here. It is just like when Israel was attacked and they gained the land that they settled on. If you start a war you can not complain of the consequences. I stand with Israel and the Ukrainians.

Did the Jews Kill Jesus
Hello,
The simple answer is no. Jesus Christ was unique. Nobody could of killed Jesus and to say so takes away what he did for us. He gave away his life for us by giving it up willingly. No mortal man could of indured what he did and survive. When He died the sins that He took upon himself died with him. I wish I could of paid for my own sins but I can not. I do not like that what wrong I did, and do, and will do, had to be paid by someone else, but it was. So to say I am grateful would be a understatement. I live because of what He did.

What is Evil?
Hello,
What is evil anyway? I will tell you what I see as evil and that is evil trying to hide under the guise of good. Let us look at Ukraine as an example. Russia attacked Ukraine and tried to say that it was righteous. Occupied Crimea and other parts of eastern Ukraine and said it was necessary to save Russian citizens. Then they attacked again and tried to capture the capital of Ukraine and now are trying to say parts of eastern Ukraine is Russian territory. Acts of aggression against its neighbor, rapping and murdering of civilians, violating the Geneva Convention against captured soldiers, does this suggest it is righteous? They are the aggressors. They are the ones trying to come up with a reason that people will buy. They are the ones suggesting that they should use nuclear weapons to defend themselves against the evil NATO and U.S., neglecting that they were the ones who started the fight. Even saying it is a holy war. I do not see anything that would justify their actions or their threats. I do not see it as anything but what it is and that is evil. I can say something is good but that does not make it so. Where is the restraint, the negotiation, the trying to do things the right way and not the wrong way by just attacking and attacking again, threatening others with a nuclear war that mankind would have a hard time coming back from, if we could come back from it at all. To some degree we have made mistakes but there are people who fight to make up for those mistakes. It certainly does not justify your mistakes. You are paying for yours by showing the world that you are not ready to be world leader and that all your talk about being a world leader is just fiction. That your mighty military might is just as fictious as your leadership. Russia is also loosing as well. Maybe you should just leave well enough alone and try to retain some dignity and just let it go. We do not want war and we certainly do not want to wipe out the human race but can not let you do it without punity. We live in this world too.

War On Two Fronts?
Hello,
The title tells it all. War is bad. War on two fronts is worse. There is two hot spots that I see the United States could possibly get into a conflict in or already has. That is Ukraine and Taiwan. We are already sending arms to Ukraine at a cost to us but not soldiers at the moment. There is also a threat if China finally attacks Taiwan. President Biden has already said we would be involved if China attacks Taiwan. The bad thing about this whole thing is Russia and China are becoming buddies at the moment. They could create more havoc if they attacked at the same time to their prospective adversaries. Either conflict could possibly go nuclear. We have been at odds with Russia and China lately and have not been able to find common ground. To me it looks a little bleak. I pray that it does not go this far but I fear that it is a reasonable assumption. People are dying and more people are going to die. This makes me very sad and to some extent angry because there are some people willing to go this far and not willing or capable of making compromises. They are playing with peoples lives. They are playing with my life. I have only one thing to say to them, stop it! I am talking to the Presidents of Russia and China (or should I say dictators). We are responding to their aggressions. The blood of the innocent is on your hands. When it comes down to it I think the United States is willing to let you play in the same pond. We have tried to include you in the world markets. How many consumer goods are made in China in the United States. Which the United States is discovering is a problem in the current situation. We were investing in Russia and cooperating on many projects. The things you're doing now is just being bullies about it. I am for Ukraine and Taiwan and for them staying free and in which we should do all that we can.

Inclusiveness
Hello,
I am a Christian and I think including people is a good thing but how far do you go? Foremost, beating anyone is wrong. That should not happen to anyone. I have been assaulted a couple of times myself and it is not fun. Whether they are gay/lesbian or Asian or Christian/Jew. However, when it comes to sports they should compete based on their genetic identity, otherwise, what is the point about having sporting events for males and females separate in the first place. I think male and female bodies are not the same and that is kind of a duh. I think a male participating in a sport for females gives them an advantage over the females because men can build more muscle mass and other things like hormones. I do not care if they FEEL like they are male or female they can not change their genetics. That is not meant to insult someone but it insults my intelligence when someone wants to act like they are a different sex and that alone makes them that sex or that they feel that way and it overrides their genetics. I am not going to make fun of them, shame them, or not include them because of the way that they identify themselves. You can change the way you look and even change your external sex organs but it still does not change your DNA in every cell in your body. I think that it would be prudent to keep male bathrooms male and female bathrooms female. That a person should go to the bathroom that are based on their genetics. I also think there should be another bathroom for the non-traditional persons. That way they can feel comfortable and safe in their space and more traditional people can feel safe and comfortable in their space. To force anyone to share a bathroom space with someone who technically is a different gender is absurd and once again what is the point of having different bathrooms if they are going to ignore it anyway. You can try to accommodate people as much as possible but there becomes a point when one group is infringing on someone else's reasonable rights and traditional people have just as many rights as those who feel like they are different.

Nuclear Energy
Hello,
When they started building nuclear power plants they said that the odds of a meltdown were virtual nil. We have seen that is not exactly the case plus when they do go they do it in extreme fashion. I attended a meeting about how safe it was and that they could safely deal with the waste. They even showed us a glass oval marble that they said contained radioactive waste. I held it in my hand. Nuclear waste is still building up on the site of nuclear power plants and have nowhere to go. Nobody wants it near them.
There is not a zero degree chance of a problem, and then they lie about it when it does happen. No manufactured plant is totally free of accidents, so it is the consequences of such accidents that bothers me, plus that they do not have a long term plan for the waste. Even if it does lower CO2 emissions, the risks to the environment and people are enormous and out ways any benefits. There are problems at the plants all the time, but they are graded on severity and rarely reach the public eye. In other words there are more problems than you are aware of and if you include those and the major accidents it is not exactly the safest means to deliver energy. So I say no new nuclear power plants and phase them out. It is better for mankind and the environment.

Trump
Hello.
First of all I would like to say I am a moderate and I don't trust any politicians. I didn't like either candidate for president last time. I wrote in Jesus Christ for president. However I would like to discuss Trump. I do believe he made a bad president. I would start that not all governmental institutions are that bad. I can understand why there are complaints that we pay to much for NATO. I did not think dropping out of NATO was in our best interest. I think Trump has no loyalty at all. If anyone disagreed with him than he would actually call them names like a child and throw them under the bus. Even if he selected them he could switch on them in a heartbeat. There was no stability and no consistency in what he did. He doesn't know everything and he is not better at everything than anyone else. He brings new meaning to the word narcissist. He really wanted to be a dictator and I can't abide by that. He never takes responsibility for his actions and he doesn't follow the law of the land. He trys to skirt it. The FBI is not that bad and them finding Top Secret documents at his home just goes to show how criminal he can be. Him and the attack on the Congress that he encouraged is also criminal. I really question his loyalty to the US. I don't like what his supporters suggest like kill the FBI agents and that we should start a civil war. It is like everybody else is supposed to follow the law but he is not subject to the same law. That is what I think of Trump. Defund the police is a stupid idea. Anarchy would run rampant. I would add socialism doesn't work and illegal aliens should be returned but that I would hope other people's will still try to enter the US legally. I don't think paying everyone is a good idea either. Like reparations for slavery. I never owned a slave or condoned slavery. I didn't kill any indians or took there lands. I have been assaulted a couple of times and I didn't receive reparations nor did I think the government should give me money. I have not beaten any Asians. I have not participated in any riots or destroyed property. I said the pledge of allegiance and say my prayers.

Talent
Hello,
This for the young adults. When I was a young adult I had a choice to make when deciding what to do with my life. I went to college but that was not the hard part. I had to decide what was going to be my major. At first it was mathematics. I didn't have any mentors and I really didn't have anybody to talk to and those that I did talk to really didn't understand why I liked mathematics. When people talk to you they tell you to go into something that you will make money in. To a degree that is true but that is only part of it. You should ask yourself what are you good at and what interests you. Once again that was mathematics for me. I wanted to study numerical analysis. Applied mathematics wasn't a thing yet. Still, I was getting information about what I could do to make money and I certainly was not finding anything that I could do with the degree I got. So instead of going on with more mathematics education I was convinced that I should do something else and I went with it. I can tell you now that was a big mistake. I was decent in the thing I did but was never great at it like mathematics. I made enough money but I was unhappy. It didn't fit my personality either. If you do not use something like mathematics then you tend to loose that intuition that you had and the ability I once had. So when I got older I found it very difficult to go back to mathematics. So the moral of the story is that you do want to make money but if you love something then you will find a way to make money with the thing that makes you happy. God gives us an ability and if we neglect it then he will take it away from us. As years progressed I still studied mathematics and other things that would be considered, I think, applied mathematics like physics and chemistry. This gave me the knowledge to do web pages and lectures on how to survive a nuclear explosion, among other things. I still have the desire to share knowledge by teaching but not exactly in the manner I though I might be doing it. Do not waste your talents. Nurture them.

Nuclear Winter and other secondary effects

Something I find interesting is that some people believe that this can happen or that can happen. Nuclear Winter or anything else for that matter can possibly happen or maybe it will not. I think it would be a disservice to say that it can not happen or will. When something has never occurred before (nuclear war) we can hypothesize but nothing can be for certain. Politics and personal opinions do play a role in something like this as well as science. Think about global warming for instance. Some people do not believe in it and some do. In this case it is my opinion that it is occuring but it would take something drastic to occur before some people will come around. When I discuss nuclear war hopefully I get across that some things can happen but it is not chiseled in stone. Secondary effects are by all means hypothesis. So keep that in mind when reading about nuclear war.

Life
All life is precious!
Let me say that again:
All life is precious!
If that makes you think that I am racist then I think you are a fool. Let us talk about it. First of all, if you think Black Lives Matter you would be right. Second, if you think Blue Lives Matter then you would be right too. The problem I have with the whole thing is when you start saying my side matters it kind of says the other side does not. I think when you say we matter then it sets a DIVISION between us and does not help anyone. So I will stick with the all life is precious and we all matter. It does not demean anyone and as a Christian all life is precious to me. The other problem I hear is the children just assume you are racist and that is just not true. When you decide I am racist because I am white is racist in and of itself. You are guilty of the thing you are accusing me of. You do not know me so deciding something like that without knowing me is stereotyping me. Do not stereotype me when we could be friends otherwise. If you think the strife between blacks and whites is unique then that would be wrong as well. How can that be true when I have seen people during my lifetime commit genocide on other peoples. It would seem to me some people are willing to separate us and judge us on one thing or another and are willing to kill us based on that difference. Is everyone looking for an excuse to fight? God help us all.

Ukraine
Hello,
it looks like Ukraine is still fighting back. Good for them. I think Russia has done a stupid thing in attacking again and we should support the Ukrainians as much as possible. The Russians have shown they are not a professional military (rapes and civilian murders) and have no control over there troops. Granted the US had it's moments in the war on terror with torture. We had some justification in attacking because of 9/11. Not the torture. Ukrainians did not attack Russia or, as far as I know, of terrorist attacks. So there justification is Nazism? Give me a break. I think Putin wants Russia to become great again. The problem with that is Russia wasn't that great before with the lack of freedoms, spying on it's citizenry, and corruption. Granted, once again, we have the same problems but not to the degree the Russians did and still do. I like living in the USA. I do not trust politicians and the people in power don't always do the right thing. Change is part of the Democratic process which means we can change hopefully for the better. So for us being the Great Satan look at yourself before casting stones.
